Trombiculindus (Plumosicola) nanlingensis, sp. nov. (figs. 1-5)
Diagnosis: This new species is similar to T. (P.) hylomydis Wang et Yu, 1965, but differs in the number of ventral body setae, the arrangement of dorsal setae and the measurements of scutum (AP=15.6, PW/SD=1.95).
Holotype and 2 paratypes collected from Rattus bowersi from Guangdong in August 1978, deposited in the Sanitation and Anti-Epidemic Station of Guangdong Province. |
