abstractOrnithocheyletia boeroi nsp., were found in specimens of Cyanocorax chrysops: Female, male, egg, larva and nymphs I and II are described. This blood sucking ectoparasites, by the secretion of thin threads make "nests" which they use as residence and as fixing element. At present, acarus which form "nests" n the skin of avian host, had not been named in the Argentina Republic.
