| abstract | Miniopterus bat specimens deposited in the collection of the Museum National dʼHistoire Naturelle, Paris, Franc, and in Dr. K. Maedaʼs collection were examined for myobiid mites. Three new African species of Calcarmyobia were found on them, and new locality records for 2 species of the genus were also obtained. A key to all the known species of Calcarmyobia was presented. Pteracarus miniopteri Uchikawa was newly recorded from Africa. |
