abstractAbacarus cynodonis, n.sp. and Eriopyhes niloticus, n.sp. (Eriophyidae: Acari) are described and illustrated from Bermuda grass, Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers. The first lives uner broadened leaf bases while the second preferes the upper leaf blade. Combined infestatin of both species may cause stunted growth and twisting of the folded terminal shoots.
