abstractThis paper on the conspicuus and cornus species groups constitutes Part II of a series on five species groups in the genus Typhlodromus Scheuten which share identical setal patterns on the dorsum. There are four species in the conspicuus group and five species in the cornus group. Two subspecies, T. tropicus tropicus and T. tropicus aristidesi, are proposed in the conspicuus group and two new species, T. camelliae and T. edwardi, are introduced to the cornus group. The generic concepts of various authors related to the species in the two groups are outlined and keys to and descriptions of each of the nine species in the two groups are also presented.
