abstractDipolaelaps chimmarogalis, sp. nov.
Holotype (♀) collected off Chimmarogale platycephala Temminck in June, 1981, from Kaili County (26.6°N, 108°E), Guizhou Province China. Type specimen is deposited in the Department of Parasitology, Guiyang Medical College.
This species is easily differentiated from Dipolaelaps ubsunaris Zem. et Piont. and D. hoi Chang et Hsu by the characters listed in the following table:
