| abstract | The paper presents the descriptions of three species of mites namely Eriophyes rotundae, sp.nov.; E. euphorbiae sp.nov.; E. plectroniae sp.nov.; belonging to the family Eriophyidae and one species Stenarhynchus aristidus gen. et sp.nov. belonging to Rhyncaphytoptidae. Among these, E. rotundae sp.nov. is unique for the presence of gigantic forms among its population whose measurements also have been given. All the species have been adequately illustrated. |
