Idiosoma spherical, 369-451 × 295-353 µ. Eyes 2/2. Formula of palpal setae B/B/BBB. Palpal claw quadrifurcated. Galea large and prominent, galeal seta plumose. Distal segment of chelicera with 7 recurvate teeth on the dorsal margin and 11-13 on the ventral. Scutum broader than long, punctae wanting. SB behind PL level. Sensillae filamentous, with 3 pairs of branches at distal half. Standard measurements (in µ): AW 65, PW 88, SB 28, ASB 23, P8B 21, AP 21, AM 36, AL 35, PL 44, Sens 77. Dorsal setae 70-84, arranged as follows: 2-10-14-13-11-12-8-6-4-2. Ventral setae 51-55. Formula of leg segments 6-6-6. Formula of coxal setae 2-1-1.
Holotype and 9 paratypes were collected under the abdominal scales of a snake (Coluber spinalis) in the bean field of Qianfoshan, Jinan, Shandong Province, on July 16, 1957, and are deposited in the Department of Parasitology, Shandong College of Chinese Traditional Medicine, Jinan. |
