abstractA key to the species of Pygmephorus Kramer, 1877, is presented for the world fauna. Descriptions and illustrations of the dorsal and ventral idiosoma and of leg I are presented for six new species: P. iglehartae, lukoschusi, proctorae, russellae, utmarae, and wilsoni. Special morphological structures are illustrated and emphasized by arrows for species separation. New synonymy is introduced. Notes are provided for new host and distribution records. A table with distribution and host records is included for the fifty-two presently known species.
