| abstract | This paper reports three new species of Phytoseiidae from Shennongjia, Hubei Province. Measurements are in micrometers. The type specimens are deposited in the Guangdong Institute of Entomology.
Typhlodromus (Anthoseius) cervix, sp. nov. (figs. 1-5)
This species is similar to Typhlodromus algonquinensis Chant and Typhlodromus (Ty-phlodromus) gracilentus Tseng. It differs from them in the following characters: 1) preanal setae 4 pairs in this species, but 2 pairs in algonquinensis; 2) sternal shield with 3 pairs of setae in this species, but 2 pairs in algonquinensis; 3)peritreme extending to j1 in this species, but extending to j3 in algonquinensis; 4) shape and number of macrosetae on leg IV of this species different from those of gracilentus; 5) spermatheca different from one another in these three species.

Phytoseius (Dubininellus) nudus. sp. nov. (figs. 6-9)
Similar to Phytoseius (Dubininellus) brevicrinis Switski et Shechter on the smooth basis of seta Z4, the ratio of the relative length of some dorsal setae and the shape of spermatheca, but distinguished from brevcrinis by the following characters: 1) dorsal shield smooth in this species, as against reticulated in brevicrinis; 2) lengths of setae s6, Z5, and Z4 72.5-80 in this species, whereas 41-48 in brevicrinis; 3) setae z2 and z4 minutely serrulate in this species, while smooth in brevicrinis.

Amblyseius (Amblyseius) subplebeius, sp. nov. (figs. 10-16)
This species resembles Amblyseius (Amblyseius) plebeius van der Merwe, but can be separated from the latter by the peritreme extending to j3, the relative lengths of setae j1, j3, j6 and J2 and the shape of spermatheca.
