| abstract | Prodinychus changbaiensis sp. nov.
This new species is akin to Prodinychus cicatricosus Franke, 1941, but in its male the genital opening is circular, its lateral region without vertical line; in the venter oblique line is lacking posteriorly; the posterior pair of setae on venter are longer than others; and the adanal setae locate in front of the level of anterior margin of the anus.
Holotype male, allotype female and paratypes 1 female and 9 deutonymphs, collected under the bark in Fusong County (42°17ʼ N, 127°18ʼ E), Jilin Province, December, 1959. The type specimens are deposited in the First Institute of Endemic Diseases Researeh, Jilin Province. |
