abstractMale and female adults of Tiphys lamina are described for the first time. This species is closely related to at least two members of the torris group based upon synapomorphic blade-like setae on the genu of leg IV in males. Adult males of T. lamina are autapomorphic in that only 2 distal setae are present on the anterior surface of this leg segment.
