| abstract | Halacarus griseus sp. n. is described. The mite was recovered from sublittoral, unsorted sediments, taken in the Gulf of Marseilles. Six species of Halacarus are now known from the Mediterranean Sea, viz. H. aegyptus, H. bisulcus, H. longiunguis, H. rismondoi, H. subtilis, and H. griseus. |
