| abstract | A new spinturnicid mite, Spinturnix tylonycterisi n. sp., was found on bats Tylonycteris pachypus Temminck, 1840 and Tylonycteris robustula Thomas, 1915 from Malaysia. Close to S. queenslandicus Prasad, 1969 and S. verutus Delfinado and Baker, 1963, the new species is different by all features of females, the size of males and the sternal shield inferior in wide but longer. |
