| abstract | Tarsonemus wangi sp. nov. (figs. 1-3)
This species is similar to Tarsoncmus bilobatus Suski, 1965, Tarsonemus fusarii Cooreman, 1941 and Tarsonemus margaretae Kaliszewski, 1978, but differs from them in:
1. Propodosomal shield with anterior margin striated.
2. Apodemes I weakly sclerotized and with a pair of strongly sclerotized small node near the ends of apodemes I.
3. Femur of leg I with a specieal chitinous structure and a broad triangular membrane in which Feα located. Feα, Feβ and Feγ slightly spiculated.
Male and larva unknown.
Holotype ♀, paratypes 4♀♀, 19. XI. 1985, off cultivated mushrooms, Agaricus bisporus, from Fuzhou City, (26°5’ N, 119°20’ E) Fujian Province, China.
The type specimens are deposited in the Institute of Plant Protection, Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences. |
