| abstract | This paper is the second part of a series on the oribatid mites from São Paulo State, that is also the 5th one of a study about the soil oribatid fauna from Brazil, that we are carrying out. The following 15 species are recorded or described: Pheroliodes hammerae n. sp., Eremulus brasilensis Pérez-Iñigo et Baggio, 1985, Eremobelba hamata Hammer, 1961, Eremobelba coronata n. sp., Staurobates schusteri Grandjean, 1966, Heterobelba oxapampensis Beck, 1962, Xenillus hammerae J. and P.
