abstractThis paper describes a new species of the genus Zetzellia Oudemans. Types are deposited in the Beijing Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences.
Zetzellia beijingensis, sp. nov. (figs. 1-5)
This new species is similar to Zetzellia languida Gonzalez in the shape of the median plate and the short and blunt-tipped dorsal setae, but it differs from the latter in the relative length of dorsal setae, the net-like reticulation on median plate, and having solenidion ω on tarsus I of male.
Holotype ♀, allotype ♂, paratypes 3♀♀, 2♂♂, Pinggu County, Beijing, 1979. VIII. 29. on malus asiatica Nakai.
