abstractThis paper deals with three new species of Nothopodinae from China. All the type specimens are deposited in the Nanjing Agricultural University.
1. Nothopoda mytibariae sp. nov. (figs. 1-5)
The new species closely allied to Nothopoda rapaneae Keifer, but distinguished by the following characters: shield with complete median line, admedian line and submedian line; jointed with two transverse lines median and admedian line admedian and submedian line constituting long cell in front, femur expanded; and coverflap smooth.
Holotype ♀, taken in September 1986, from Nanning (22.8° N, 108.3° E), Guangxi, by Feng Yuanbin. Allotype ♂ and paratypes 2♀♀, same as holotype. Host: Mytibaria laosensis.
2. Neocosella aquilariae sp. nov. (figs. 6-11)
The new species is similar to Neocosella ichnocarpae Moh., but distinguished by the following characters: the admedian and submedian line complete, admedian line constituting a rhomboform and an inverted U-shape and forming a small cell by jointing the submedian with a cross line in front; coxae smooth; female coverflap with granules at the base; and tarsus terminal lacking tortuous seta.
Holotype ♀, taken in June 1985 from Nanning (22.8° N, 108.3° E), Guangxi, by Feng Yuan-bin. Allotype ♂ and paratypes 11♀♀, same as holotype. Host: Aquilaria sinensis.
3. Disella litchii sp. nov. (figs. 12-17)
This new species resembles Disella ilicis (Keifer), but differs from the latter in following characters: There are median line lacking, submedian line in a pattern of rhomboid, ellipsoid and anchor-shape, submedian waved; lateral thanosome ridge in addition to existent middorsal thanosome ridge; the lateral ridge and thanosome ridge all with wax filament, featherclaw 7-rayed.
Holotype ♀, taken in March 1986, from Nanning (22.3° N, 108.3° E), Guangxi, by Feng Yuan-bin. Allotype ♂ and paratypes 10♀♀ same as holotype. Host: Litchii chinensis.
