| abstract | Echinozonus gen. n. (Pterolichoidea, Pterolichidae) is established with Pterolichus (Pseudalloptes) curtus Trouessart (type species) and 5 new species: colothrix, infrequens, kethleyi, leurophyllus, and longisetosus. The mites represent two morphotypes; one species of each morphotype occurs on single species of Megapodiidae. |
