abstractIn this paper, two new species of the family Laelapidae Berlese, 1892 are described and figured. Types were collected from Longchuan County (24.3° N, 97.9° E), Yunnan Province, and are deposited in the Department of Parasitology, Guiyang Medical College, Guizhou Province.
Androlaelaps singuloides, sp. nov. (figs. 1-6)
Holotype ♀ and paratypes 10♀♀ were collected on Jun. 24, 1987, off Gryllulus sp.
The new species is closely near to Androlaelaps singularis Wang et Li, 1965, but with following differences: [table omitted]
Hypoaspis longchaanensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-9)
Holotype ♀, paratypes 3♀♀ were collected on Jun. 24, 1987, off beetle of Xylotrupes sp.
The new species is similar to Hypoaspis liui Samsinak, 1962, but may be differentiated as shown in the following table: [table omitted]
