| abstract | Bruyantella smithi n. gen., n. sp. (Acari: Microtrombidiidae: Eutrombidiinae) is recorded from New Brunswick, Canada. The genus is diagnosed and the species described and illustrated. This is the fourth genus known of post-larval Eutrombidiinae, the others being Eutrombidium Verdun, Leptothrombium Berlese and Caecothrombium Andre. |
