| abstract | The three species Copidognathus gracilunguis sp. n., C. neptuneus sp. n. and C. cephalocanthus sp. n. are described and the description of C. longiunguis Bartsch emended. The two closely related species C. gracilunguis and C. longiunguis are characterized by the wide, heavily sclerotized idiosoma, slender legs and very long claws. Marked features of C. neptuneus are the large median groove and the long and stout setae ds- 4 and ds-5. C. cephalocanthus is characterized by the enlarged genital acetabula and epimeral pores; the significance of these enlarged organs is not known. |
