| abstract | This article reports two new species of the subfamily Cecidophyinae from China. All measurements are in micra. Type specimens are deposited in Nanjing Agricultural University.
1. Cecidophyopsis persicae Kuang et Luo, sp. nov. (figs. 1-6)
This new species related to Cecidophyopsis vermiformis (Nal.), but its ring microtubercles being tapered, the top end of submedian lines dividing into four parallel lines, and the female genitalia coverflap with 10-14 longitudinal ribs.
Holotype ♀, allotype ♂, paratypes 4♀♀, Pinggu County (40°1ʼ N, 117°1ʼ E), Beijing Municipality, VI 2, 1986, from Prunus persicae, by Luo Weide.
2. Coptophylla castaneae Kuang et Hong, sp. nov. (figs. 7-11)
This new species similar to Coptophylla cerriquerci Farkas, but its tergites being smooth, leg I with femur seta, leg II with genu seta, coxa without sternal line, and the female genitalia coverflap having two rows of longitudinal ribs, each row with 10-12 longitudinal ribs.
