| abstract | Illustrated description of a new free-living species of Eriophyid mites Cupacarus cerifer sp.n. (Acari: Tetrapodili) from Juniperus semiglobosa Rgl. The new mite differs from two other species of the genus Cupacarus and from all representatives of nearest genera Epitrimerus and Calepitrimerus in the presence of white wax film in the form of fringe on the sides of the body. Some data on the biology of the new species are given. |
