| abstract | Two new genera and three new species of eriophyid mites (Acari: Eriophyoidea) are described from Thailand and three new records are given. Siamina cruminae Boczek, n.gen., n.sp. was foundas vagrant on Syzygium cumini (Myrtaceae), Azimaberoptus azimae Chandrapatya, n.gen.,n.sp. as causing galls on leaves of Azima sarmentosa (Salvadoraceae), and Tetra diospyrosae Chandrapatya, n.sp. as vagrant on Diospyros rhodacalyx (Ebenaceae). Colopodacus bengalensis Mohanasundaram, Phyllocoptruta malligai Mohanasundaram, and Vasates pavetis Ghosh, Mondai and Chakrabarti, described from India, were found in Thailand but differed in some characters. |
