| abstract | Scarabapolipus uchikawai n. gn., n. sp. (Acari: Podapolipidae) is described from Protaetia orientalis submarmorea (Burmeister) from Central Japan. Sexually dimorphic male and female larvae are reported for the first time from Podapolipidae. Scarabapolipus is compared with other podapolipid mites from scarab beetles and with Dorsipes from carabid beetles. |
