Eviphis dalianensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-4)
This new species is similar to Eviphis huainanensis Wen, 1965, but different from the latter in having the following characters: (1) The PA seta is rod-like and there are reticula on the anal plate. (2) The genito-ventral plate is closed to the sternal plate and concave at the middle of both sides, the VI nearly to the end of the genito-ventral plate. (3) The metasternal plate is seperated from the endopodal plate and with a circular pore on it. (4) There is a slender lyrifissure near the margin of the peritrematal plate between the coxae II and III; there is only one tumour-like projection on the anterior part of the peritreme. (5) The metapodal plate is oval in shape.
Host: Dynastid beetle.
