abstractThe present paper dals with two species of the genus Ledermuelleria Oudemans, 1923, of which one is a new species and the other is recorded for the first time from China.
1. Ledermuelleria changbaiensis sp.nov. (figs. 1-4)
The new species is similar to Ledermuelleria lirella Summers, 1961, but it can be distinguished by the following characters: the new species has a pair of eyes andthe latter none; the setae h, e and le of the new species cannot be seen from the dorsal side while the latter can, the dorsal setae different in shape; and the length of the setae be, li and e also different.
Holotype ♀, collected from the forest moss on 24. IX 1876, by Yin Sui-gong from Mt. Changbai (42° N, 128° E), Jilin Province, China. The type specimen is deposited in Plant Protection Department, Shenyang Agricultural University.
2. Ledermuelleria clavata (Canestrini and Fanzago, 1876)
New record frm China.
