abstractThe present paper deals with four new species of the genus Aceria from Wuzhou City (23°4ʼ N, 111°3ʼ E), Guangxi. All measurements are given in µm. The type specimens are deposited in the Department of Plant protection, Nanjing Agricultural University.
1. Aceria lagerstroemiae Kuang et Yang, sp.nov. (figs. 1-5)
This new species is closely allied to A. annonae Keifer, but it differs from the latter in the coxa smooth, featherclaw with 6 rays and the female genitalia coverflap with 16-18 longitudinal ridges.
Holotype ♀, parytype 5♀♀, June 11, 1991, collected by Yang Shengping. Host: Lagerstroemia indica.
2. Aceria gei Kuang et Lu, sp.nov. (figs. 6-11)
This new species is similar to A. mayae Manson, but distinguished by the follow characters, dorsal seta shorter, coxa with short strips, featherclaw 4 rays, tergites with ellipse microtubercles and the microtubercles of sternite in taperform.
Holotype ♀, allotype ♂, paratype 4♀♀, June 11, 1991, collected by Lu Qiubo. Host: Geum aleppicum.
3. Aceria guangxiense Kuang et Lu, sp.nov. (figs. 12-17)
This new species allied to A. neosalicina Dong et Xin, but all the longitudinal lines of the shield disjointed, coxa with granules, a dotted line pattern just ahead tergite rings, tergites with some ellipse microtubercles and the claw knobbed.
Holotype ♀, paratype 5♀♀, June 11, 1991, collected by Lu Qiubo. Host Salix babylonica.
4. Aceria wuzhouensis Kuang et Yang, sp.nov. (figs. 18-23)
This new species allied to A. jiangsunensi Kuang, but its shield with dotted line, without little chamber or spearhead pattern, female genitalia with 8-10 longitudinal ridges.
Holotype ♀, paratype 5♀♀, June 11, 1991, collected by Yang Shengping. Host: Salix babylonica.
