abstractHaemogamasus yushuensis sp. nov. (figs. 1-4)
The new species is similar to Haemogamasus huangzhongensis Yang et Gu 1986, but can be distinguished from the latter by the following characters: both anterior and posterior margins of the sternal plate are concave in the new species while in the latter only the anterior margin is concave; the 5 pairs of setae on the genitoventral plate are smooth in the new species, while those are plumose in the latter; the setae on legs of the new species are plumose and smooth, whereas the setae on legs of the latter are plumose; the shape of the pilus dentilus in the new species is stout at the hasal part, while that in the latter is setaceous; the peritreme of the new species reaches the posterier margin of the leg I, while that of the latter reaches the anterior margin of leg I.
