abstractSpecies beloning to the genera Lauroppia Subias et Minguez, 1986, Moritzoppia Subias et Rodriguez, 1988, Neotrichoppia (Confinoppia) Subias et Iturrondobeitia, 1981 and Oppiella Jacot, 1937 from the south of Spain were studied. Lauroppia baetica n.sp. is described, its main features are: big size (more than 400 µm); rostrum with three well developed teeth and lamellar costulae poorly developed; sensillum with narrow head with five bristles; six pairs of genital setae. Lauroppia doris is redescribed.
