Holotype female and allotype male were collected on Aug. 7, 1989, in a synoekete cave of beetle and Eremias prezewalskii (Strauch), and paratype one female collected on July 26, 1989, in a synoekete cave of beetle and Buthus martensi Karsch, all from Zhongwei County (37°5ʼ N, 105°1ʼ E), Ningxia Autonomous Region. The paratype is deposited in the Medical School of Nanjing University, and the others deposited in the Institute of Endemic Disease Control, Ningxia Autonomous Region.
The new species is associated with beetle, scorpion and reptile, the characteristics which may differenciated from all the known species in this genus are the idiosoma covering with a white membrane, the tarsus of leg I strongly sclerotized, and its color is darker than the dorsal plate.
