abstractThe genus Okiseius Ehara with the type species Okiseius subtropicus Ehara is revised. Two subgenera are proposed: Okiseius s. str. and Kampimodromellus Kolodochka and Denmark subgen. n. These Kampimodromus-like species differ from Kampimodromus by having seta J2 missing. Okiseius formosanus Tseng (1972) does not belong in Okiseius, as it has no lateral acute incision posterior to R1, and S5 missing. Eight known species are redescribed and illustrated: O. subtropicus Ehara, O. eharai Liang and Ke, O. chinensis Wu, O. morenoi Schicha, O. maritimus (Ehara) comb. nov., O. domatorum (Schicha) comb. nov., O. alniseius Wainstein and Beglyarov, and O. tibetagramins (Wu) comb. nov.; four species are reported but not illustrated: O. juglandis (Wang and Xu), O. himalayana Gupta, O. yazuliensis Gupta, and O. sikkimensis Gupta. Two new species are described and illustrated: Okiseius wui Denmark and Kolodochka and Okiseius wongi Denmark and Kolodochka. The females are keyed to subgenera and to species.
