| abstract | The genus Ralphaudyna (Acari: Chyzeriidae) is recorded for the first time from Iran. Ralphaudyna iranensis sp.nov., represented by a larva collected in a pitfall trap in Andisheh-Noshahr, Iran, is described. A modified generic definitin and a key to known species of Ralphaudyna are provided. The systematic status of Ralphaudyna is also discussed. |
