| abstract | Eotetranychus quercifoliae Ehara et Gotoh, sp.nov. was described and illuatrated from Quercus serrata Thunberg in Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, Honshu. This mite has so far been attributed to E. suginamensis (Yokoyama) on mulberry. Although superficially resembling E. suginamensis in the shape of the aedeagus, it is not allied to the latter, but close to E. nomurai Ehara and E. spinifer Wang. |
