abstractIn this paper, a new species of Glycyphagus is described which was found in the poultry feed mixture from Yujiang, Jiangxi Province.
Glycyphagus yujiangensis sp. nov.
This new species resembles G. microti but differs in the following characters: Glycyphagus microti: the hysterosoma not widened, the genital opening lying between coxal III, IV; the seta hT on tibia I and II in the male modified into a triangular scale and with teeth.
Glycyphagus yujiangensis sp. nov.: the hysterosoma widened, the genital opening lying between coxal I to II, the seta hT on tibia I and II in the male unmodified.
Holotype ♀, paratypes 11♂♂, 13♀♀, 5. XII. 1991. Yujiang County (29°45ʼ N, 116°49ʼ E),Jiangxi Province, from poultry feed mixture, by Jiang Zhen-tao.
