| abstract | Two new species of the water mite genus Gretacarus, G. bifalicsetus sp.nov. and G. tuberipalpis sp.nov., are described from the Northern Territory and Western Australia. Momoniella australica Cook is recorded for the first time from the Northern Territory and Western Australia.
