| abstract | The results of investigation of the rapignathoid mites in north-eastern Ukraine are summarised. Twenty-two species of five families are listed. Caligonella venusta sp.n. is described. The new species differs from all hitherto known Caligonella species in number of anal setae, tarsal chaetotaxy and in presence of only one solenidion on the tibia 1. The type of the new species is deposited in the collection of the Department of Agroecology, the State Nikita Botanical Garden (Yalta). |
