| abstract | Adults and immatures of Novonothrus kethleyi spec. nov. are described. These Oribatid specimens originate from a forest litter sample collected in Chile. The mite is distinguished from all congeneric species by a trilobed posterior notogastral margin, monodactylous legs, short, broad and distally rounded posterior notogastral setae, and a thick, scale-like seta itʼ on tarsi II-IV in the adults. |
