The members of the new taxon were found mainly confined to the lower surface of the crinkled leaves and terminal receptacles of the terrestrial weed, Chromolaena odorata. The species was found distributed on the leaves of bitter gourd, Momordica charantia also. However, the population density was very low on bitter gourd.
