| abstract | This paper provides diagnoses of the genera Parathyasella stat nov. and Amerothyasella gen. nov. which are proposed to accommodate four newly described species, Parathyasella pacifica sp. nov. and Parathyasella heatherensis sp. nov. from springs and streams in western North America, and Amerothyasella appalachiana sp. nov. and Amerotlryasella tracensis sp. nov.from hyporheic gravels in streams in eastern North America. |
