| abstract | Diagnoses are given and relationships discussed for two new oribatid mite genera (Helvetobelba gen.n. and Unicobelba gen.n.) from Switzerland. Two new species, Helvetobelba dichotoma and Unicobelba ypsilonsignata are described and one new combination, Unicobelba truncicola (Forsslund, 1941) is suggested.
