| abstract | The present work deals with some members of poronotic oribatid mites from Iran. A new species, Baloghiella granulata sp. nov. is described from Yazd Province, Central Iran. In addition, supplementary descriptions of seven known species are given, which are recorded for the first time from this country. The following new combination is proposed: Protoribates paracapucinus (Mahunka, 1988) comb. nov. Data on geographic distribution of each known species are given. |
