| abstract | Three species of oribatid mites belonging to the families Licnodamaeidae and Plateremaeidae sensu lato are studied. A new species Pedrocortesella triangulata sp. n. is described from litter of birch forest in Central Mongolia. The following new combinations are proposed: Licnodamaeus fissurata (Balogh et Mahunka) comb. n. and Pedrocortesella inaequalis (Balogh et Mahunka) comb. n., and both the species are redescribed in detail. |
