abstractThis paper is part of a continuing study on rheophilous water mites from Córdoba (Argentina). A new species Arrenurus (Megaluracarus) willinki sp. nov., collected from permanent streams of the Pampa de Achala, is described. The species Eylais perincisa Ribaga (first register for Argentina) and Eylais protendens Berlese (first register for Córdoba) are also described. The distribution of the species Limnesia braytola Cook, Tetrahygrobatella bovala Cook, Hygrobates ampliatus Viets, Dodecabates dodecaporus (Nordenskiöl) have all been registered for Córdoba. The morphometric differences are reviewed for all of these species and also for Clathrosperchon punctatus Cook, Limnesia crassiseta Lundblad and Atractides brasiliensis Lundblad (all of which are already known for Córdoba). New data on water mite zoogeography are also included.
