| abstract | A new species of Arrenurus (Arrenuridae) and the female of A. (Megaluracarus) andrwfieldi Orghidan and Gruia from phytotelm microhabitats of Venezuela are described. A. caquetiorum n.sp. is described from a female collected from water accumulated in Guzmania mucronata Mez. (Bromeliaceae). Because the male is unknown, assignation to subgenus was not possible. The unknown female of A. (M.) andrewfieldi is redescribed and a redescription of the species from specimens of males and emales collected from water deposits of Aechmea aquilega Griseb. (Bromeliaceae) is given. |
