| abstract | Two Copidognathus species, C. leptus sp. n. and C. procerus sp. n., are described. The two species are slender, have elongate ocular plates, their posterior dorsal plates bear a pair of porose costae, but they distinctly differ in the ornamentation of the plates. C. leptus is similar to C. lamellosus whereas C. procerus resembles species of the oculatus group. The two Copidognathus species are from the Great Meteor Seamount, northeastern Atlantic. |
