| abstract | An account is given of twenty-two species of Oribatid mites new to Britain and three species new to science. The majority of the species were collected from raw humus under coniferous and deciduous plantations in south Bedfordshire. The type specimens are deposited in the Collections of the British Museum (Natural History). |
