abstractTwo bird-chiggers are recorded from French Equatorial Africa. Neoschöngastia moucheti n.sp. off partridge, Francolinus squamatus, is described. N. brennani Crossley and Loomis, of guinea fowl, Numida meleagris, is reported for the first time since its discovery in Central United States.
