| abstract | Five species of mites belonging to the genus Eupodes Koch; family Eupodidae; are reported for the first time in the Philippines. Eupodes callejae and E. garciai are described as new species while E. onoi Shiba; E. pseudolumbarus Shiba and E. pusillus Shiba are reported as new records. Eupodes onoi from Singapore and E. pusillus from West Java; Indonesia; are also new records for these countries. All species are described and illustrated and a key to their identification is provided. |
